The tiny greenhouse is packed full with young plants, some still germinating and others growing right along. Cucumbers, watermelons, winter and summer squash, pumpkins, sweet peppers, dill, and tomatoes are all thriving in the warm, moist environment. Unfortunately, so are the ants.
The ants have discovered dry land inside the greenhouse and seem to like it there pretty well. The ground has no covering so the ants just make themselves right at home. We spend a lot of time stepping over the hills. Frogs have moved in, too. This year has been, and continues to be, an exciting learning adventure in greenhouse-ery. The plants are do well, though, and that’s all that really matter. Right?
